New Zealand's Children's Day is a national, non-commercial day to celebrate how special and important our children are.

Children's Day 2009 will be on Sunday the 1st of March

We hope you will do something special with children on that day or organise a special event in your workplace or community. The most important gift an adult can give to a child is the 'gift of time'.

A huge Thank You to all the event organisers who made Children's Day 2008 a great success. We know more exciting events will be organised for 2009.

The key theme for 2009 will be 'LISTENING AND TALKING'

This website contains information and inspiration to help you celebrate Children's Day.
