Sunday the 4th of March is Children's Day. This is a time where families and communities can come together to celebrate the children in their lives. Come and celebrate with us!
Dunedin Plunket, with support from other community support agencies and organisations, have put together a whole range of fun activities and events for the whole family. We have support from Best Start, Amby the Ambulance, a fire engine from the Dunedin Fire Service, Rainbow Preschool (including Thomas the Tank Engine!), Oral Health South, the Heart Foundation, Anglican Family Care, Presbyterian Support Services, Sport Otago, Playball, Pioneers Childcare and Nursery, Dunedin City Library, the Taieri Parent Centre and the Dunedin Parent Centre.
There will be a teddy bear's picnic so bring along your favourite teddy and picnic lunch. Big Blue the Plunket Bear might join us too!
We have a wonderful line up of entertainers for you including: Rainbow Rosalind and Friends, Max the Magician, Rasa Dance School, and Amadeo from the Otago Museum.
Entry is a gold coin donation and everything is free, apart from the coffee cart for the adults. Please note there will be no food stalls on site.
There will be water available, a first aid tent and changing and feeding facilities for babies.
Car parking is free in the Forsyth Barr Stadium carpark on Sundays.
